Abstract

The emergence of alternative learning that is done at home by involving parents or a professional tutor as a mentor for children. This is called Homeschooling. Homeschooling is education whose learning materials can be selected and adapted to the needs of children which can produce better quality than that obtained in formal schools. And parents can monitor and know the child's development directly. The lack of variety of learning carried out by Homeschooling while Homeschooling is required to be more creative, independent and innovative. The PAKEM learning model will be a learning method that will be applied to Homeschooling Education so that children are more Participative, Active, Creative, Effective and Fun and can have a major impact on change and development so as to improve the learning atmosphere that does not make Homeschooling children feel bored.
